So the time is truly flying by. We are almost 26 weeks pregnant which is when the baby reopens their eyes after they have been fused since almost week 8. Everything has been going wonderfully the past few months and I've even felt up to working some overtime at the hospital. This is a big change from the early months when I was far more sick and stressed.
There was lots of good new today as I passed my Glucose Tolerance Screening. I'm eating a big bowl of chocolate cookie dough ice cream as I type. As many of you know, I'm taking Lovenox, a blood thinner throughout my pregnancy and all the lab work to make sure that is going ok came back perfect too.
Now the preparation has truly begun before a very hectic and exciting summer. Dave spent 2 weekends ago putting our crib together and rearranging the furniture in our second bedroom. Then it was a trip to New Jersey for Devon and Greg's Bridal shower. A lot of family and friends got their first feel of Baby Moore moving around and kicking in my tummy. He or she is usually quite a lively little one and I've been so lucky that I have been able to feel he/she move since about 18 weeks. Now Dave and Belle the Cat are often frightened by sudden jolts in my tummy visible through my tee shirt!
So its time to enter my 7th month, wow is it going quickly. We are so excited for everyone to get to meet this little one soon. I'll be posting some more belly pictures soon. It is growing exponentially, that is for sure!
